Is there any way to detect minefields?
cause currently all you need to do is lay one and then even if the enemy has radar coverage sit back and watch their entire army die...
little bit un countereable unless you spam dox i guess to clear the way..

    Skitters can see them.

Combat fabbers can also see them. So if this is a problem, you might consider adding them into your army. It might be more viable now depending on how much wreckage of your enemy you can reclaim along the way.

Also note you can put a skitter or combat fabber into a pelican and fly it around above your army to spot mines as well.

    I have two questions.
    1. Can mine be triggered by enemy navel units? (Ship and submarine)
    2. Can mine be triggered by hover units? (Drifter)

Sea mines are on sea floor and attack amphibious units such as dox and slammers. I don't think they effect ships or hover units as they go above them. I don't know what happens with subs though.

I think your information is in the old PA.

I just play a game to test this.
The mine is placed on water surface rather than the seabed.
And dox can't trigger the mine when they are underwater.
Even if the mine is placed near the seacoast where the water isn't too deep,
the mine just can't get triggered by dox when they are underwater, no matter how near they are.

Since the AI doesn't try to make a submarine, so I don't know whether it will be triggered by submarine or not.
But I think it can be triggered by ships.
