basically the title says it all. do you play it? know of it? If not you should check it out! For those of you who do, what texture packs do you use? It's always fun to hear about other peoples setup or mods!
Meh, minecraft just feels like a sandbox with enemies IMO. The expansion packs are pretty legit though, that I will give them.
have you ever played it? It's pretty fun, people are always skeptical about it at first, but once you realize that you can do anything with it, then it gets fun! I play on pvp servers where we are trying to build up an army of players and crush the enemy who is trying to do the same thing. you make some pretty cool stuff too! I have some of the top cannon designs available! It's just a fun game that helps your mind wander and what not.
Hardcore mode no armor wooden tools only (cept for obsidian) on hardest difficulty solo mode. Only way to play.
haha that's intense!! I have yet to play hardcore mode. I've been working on an adventure map and a texture pack. I need to get back into actually playing the game. :lol:
The combat is too shallow for me to enjoy. online, if there's any sort of lag you'll take damage no matter what. That said, I do enjoy creative.

I had over 200 dollars worth of keys from an unusual I unboxed. Feels pretty good. Thread getting derailed. Also I don't have more money.
I like Minecraft, but the draw of it is to show off your stuff, which isn't very possible with single player. Resource gathering also kinda sucks in vanilla, but the Tekkit Pack (too much bullsh*t in the larger Technic Pack) is amazing in that regard, and it's also multiplayer compatible. Really I haven't played Minecraft in a while since there isn't a reliable server for me to play on. If I could find one that I can trust won't get shut down and that has people on it, I might play again.
Use TooManyItems w/ Magiclauncher. Then you don't have to wank off for most of the game trying to find materials.
That's the problem with Minecraft. Don't cheat and you have to wade through hours of crap to accomplish 1 thing. Cheat and you have nothing to strive towards. It lacks a good middle ground.
