Was possible in alpha by building mex fast on the metal spot. Did you use area command or manual click? 1 or 2 adv fabbers?
from what I've read you can overlay t1 and t2 extractors with the area command, someone was saying they got up to 5 nested (have to alternate t1/2) before the game crashed apparently.
