Metal Planet Crash

When I try to edit a metal planet in the "system editor", and click on "edit planet", then click "preview" PA crashes.

Anyone else have this problem?

I'm running on an asus gaming laptop:
windows 8 / 64 bit
8 gig ram
intel core i7 3630QM cpu @2.4GHz (dual core)

Does it do it with other planets or just metal ones in particular,Could you also list your graphics card and lastly,are you sure you have the latest drivers and updates?

also if you know how to,upload dxdiag so we can see what the problem is

Just the metal planet so far, although I have not tested them all yet.

Earth, lava and sand work fine.... I will test the others and let you know!
