So I tried to build some metal moons for smashing at a 200 diameter and well it generated something that looked like the blown up death star. A quarter of one hemisphere was missing and the surface was so unruly as far as terrain there is no way you could build on it or move around, I think landing on it would be the only thing you could do. Just wanted you folks at uber to know about this flaw if you didn't already ;)

I will say I like the blown up death star look but would like to be able to expand on it. And I tried adjusting seed and biome slides to no avail

Its a problem with the assets. they are to big, so it looks all wierd.

I assume they will tweak it. It looks kinda cool. But there isnt any room to actually build and move units as far as i can see.

I would definitely be sad, if he cant make small metal moons :S even 300 doesnt look too good, and that requires 25 engines to move. where 200 moon is 3, i hope they do some tweaking :p

The caps that are standard for all metal planet biomes is the same regardless of their size, making smaller planets unusable or in your case produces an unfinished death star :(
