Memory Usage

    Hello PA,

    I made a large system by mistake. Unfortunately, it takes a long time for orbital units to get from one planet to the next. As a result, there is a lot of time for players to build a lot of units...

    I saved the game just before it crashed. When I reloaded the game, I watched my system commit go from ~2gb to 17+gb. I have 16gb of ram and no swap. So as soon as the load completed, PA crashed.

    Is there a mod that improves PA ram usage? Otherwise, I can not finish the game :(

    Only Linux uses swap afaik. XP

    Who cares how you call it.
    That thing that uses your HDD/SDD as memory in case your real memory is full.
