Well im trying to find out roughly what can run this on max? mainly video card wise as i already have a quad core with 4gb ram, but my graphics card is only a 512mb one, im thinking about getting a 5770, reso would be 1920x1080 as its my monitor native, what else would you recommend around that price range? (i think a 5770 could run it max)

My 5770 does indeed run the game at max settings quite well at 1920x1080. :)

My 5870 is also doing good. But my screen only supports 1440:900 :(

This game doesn't take that much of my PC as i thought it would.

    Haha! GeForce!
nah i'm not going to start a Graphic Card war :p

ATI is doing pretty good lately with their cheap and powerfull Graphic Cards.
Having a up to date PC is alot of work and costly, but worth it. The positive side of having a consoll is that they don't have to worry about that.

to be honest i don't see why there is a war about consoles or graphics card or ANYTHING tech related it all personal pref, the 5770 out does a lot of cards in its price range so thats why i mentioned it, my friend has a gts 250 which performs great and is around the same price.

i by no means want an up to date pc, that means upgrading every 6 months or so i just want something that can handle most games fairly well, im only 16 i don't have a job and don't really plan on working full time until i finish school, im happy with a budget pc :)

Edit: Can you post the FPS you are pulling at 1920x1080 on max? thanks :) if its 60ish im sold (of course this must be in game)

Just hopped into a blitz quick and took a screenshot. Sorry it's not in a hectic crossfire or something but it's hard finding a game for me at the moment. Patch broke all the servers I guess

If you are looking for a card that will give you bang for your buck, the 5770 definitely does that. I upgraded to it 4 or 5 months ago and I've been extremely happy with it (especially considering it's not in the $200-300 range).

What program did you use for the screenshot? I tried Print+Paste and Screencapture via PaintShop Pro but all I got was a black pictue. Fraps?

I think F9 is the default screenshot key in UE-based games. Can't remember offhand.

It is but it doesn't work in MNC. Or it places the files not in the default location.

PS: Installed Fraps now. Works like a charm.

Probably an nvidia 460 as they're cheap.
I use an ATI 5870, I don't think they're currently the best option available though.

My desktop pc can run this on max at 1920x1080 with no lagg.
Intel Core 2 duo 1.7 Ghz, overclocked to 3.2Ghz
    4Gb Ram
    Nvidia 9800GT

Have not had any noticeable lag issues with the game yet. I personally think nvidia card's have more compatibility with games.
However since you have ATI already, I guess you would be wanting to go for another ATI.

Not even sure how you guys can run such huge screen sizes...Maybe my monitors just REALLY old ( 5 year flatscreen, ViewSonic VA703b ), or just very tiny ( only a 17" if I recall ). Using a Geforce 9500 512 myself at 1028x768, no real lag or choppiness to speak of beyond the first few second loading. Sadly I really don't go higher as then text and stuff starts to become really tiny and hard to read.

So I guess I'm asking what all monitors are all of you using per say to get such high sizes looking OK?

I have a core2duo 2.6, gtx 260 and 4gb of ram and I can run the game really well though with max shadows on once a match becomes hectic in the final half I get frame drops to 40, setting shadows to medium or default again sorted that problem and there isn't much of a visible difference at all.

At one point I was playing the game in 720p, rock solid frame rate and it still looks a little better then the 360 version :p which still looks great to me anyway.

Mine is the 512 MB version as well, but my monitor isn't nearly as high as that, it's only 1400x900 reso.
