Disguises players during the match. Commanders are hidden in lobby, you can only select a faction. Colours are hidden in lobby (high contrast colours are randomly assigned). During the match chat messages and the player list is anonymised. This has long been requested by @underscore1112 & @andreasgg. It was made in a rush for the 6p FFA MADNESS Tournament. Support for dynamic alliances and hiding the starting eco modifier will come at a later date. Known bug: Disconnect messages shows player names. Will fix in the next update.
In the event that you decide to use this for unshared teams, recommend (if possible) grouping the colours. For instance, warm colors for Team 1 and cool colours for Team2. This would make it easier for casters & spectators to tell the teams apart.
Can you fix the terrible description assigned to this mod? It doesn't tell you anything about what it does.
One nice addition would be making this a checkbox in the lobby so you can just leave the mod enabled.
What would you suggest it be? Yeah, others had suggested this to me. But this introduces the issue of not knowing if the game is modded before joining. It'd be less work and cleaner to have (@mikeyh or) a mod introduce the enable/disable options before creating the lobby.
Gotta work with the game you've got not the game you wish you had. "A mod to restore equality to FFAs. Removes player names and assigns random colours and Commanders to every player and AI. Keep which faction you're playing as a secret. Never know who you're fighting until you win or you die."
Faction selection isn't working with Planetary Obliteration. Is there anything I need to do on my end, or is the fix all on your end?
