Map with nubs both teams can build on

    I heart the turrets.

    Some DLC should have a map with turret nubs that either team could build on if they get to it first.

    Some nubs should be under cover (from airstrikes), some should be in the open. Some near bot lanes, some not.

    i like the idea. maybe have them on some maps, maps that have very many paths. on c&c renegade gun-emplacements were on 4-story maps or maps where the base isnt even visible from the other base. turrets would have to be on both sides of the field and in places that are strategic, but not too lavishly to where the turrets can kill all the pros so easily.

    but thats another idea for the future of this game. what about turret that can be used/aimed/fired directly by a pro, such as a pro in the controls of the turret, and that turret being like a gun emplacement, with a slow-firing rocket as secondary and a medium-rate gun with fair damage as primary, with about as much armor as a tank so you can use it without taking direct damage and defend your base?

    or heres another one, what about a turret thats adaptable? a turret that any pro can upgrade, but can also be changed with $100, and when changed by a certain class has that classes weapon-properties...
    like a turret that is cloaked to look like a turret-nub until it fires throwing stars at unsuspecting enemies if adapted by the assassin,
    a heavy-gun-emplacement in adaption to a gunner,
    a close-range burn-beam in adaptation to a tank,
    a grenade-emplacement that can arc over some cover in adaptation to an assault,
    a long-range slow-firing high-caliber turret adapted by the sniper,
    and maybe a turret-support station that auto-heals turrets slowly when those turrets arent recieving damage for a while for adaptation by the support.

    Great ideas tranquility but they just don't feel like "mnc".

    The idea for a support turret i think would be better suited if it healed players and bots at level 1, level 2 heals faster and increased range, level 3 increase speed and allows over shield (possibly only on bots?)

    For the self manned turret i have to say no to that. Because then you get people who just sit there on the turrets the wholesaling game, and once again it doesn't feel like mnc :/

    it could be a good idea for a turtle team. same with the versitile turret. this is all saying good turret ideas for sequels. as ideas for future turrets in future games by uber.

    but your right, giving players another toy like the assassin, which can wholly be used but can also be a drag on a team, would maybe be a bad idea.

    for that matter, im in favor of making some turret nubs unable to build longshots on. like under the walkways which start as rokkits on EVERY map, and on a good majority of steel-peel (with the exception of far-back-left and front-left)
