    Wow that's would be cool of you give us some possibility to spawn effects emitters like that! :rolleyes:

    I'm played a lot with snow effect for game, but wasn't able to finish it because it's was impossible to spawn effect emitters without unit.

    I'm sorry, I am not very experienced with RTS games as a genre.....but wtf is a map ping?

    On a more HILARIOUS note, can you imagine Zaphod doing that in-game? Guys, Watch this: PING BRAAWWWR heheheh oooh and again PING BRAAAWWWWR hey burntcustard! watch your commander dump his load! PING BRAAAWWWWR

    I've only ever seen it used in co-operative gameplay. Basically, anyone on your team will be altered to that spot. So maybe your teammate last saw where an enemy commander was, but you didn't. He could ping the location and you could drop a nuke there or something. Really it's just for notification.

    I would think a contextual ping would be cool. Like how in LoL you have the generic ping and a "retreat" ping. Maybe like a "hey i'm about to annihilate this planet" ping. Or "incoming massive enemy force" ping. We should probably also be able to ping units travelling between planets.

    Awesome though. Keep up the good work, Uber.

    Meh. It will help public team games, im sure, but us RLM guys will be like, 'We were using Teamspeak before it was cool!'

    SupCom had three different ping colors that you could pick from. Hopefully we can get something like that.

    This is very important. I would also like to see a notification event for when enemy units are spotted between planets. This could be very useful if we had it in the alerts manager mod.

    Speaking of notifications, I hope pings will also trigger a notification so that we can go right to it. In SupCom, you could just zoom out when you heard the ping noise. That won't really work in this game.
