This is a fantastic idea. I'm not sure how I managed to miss them releasing this. The digital information of deceased people has always been an issue. Especially with data that is stored with companies. For encrypted data you can always just encrypt your key using something like Shamir's Shared Secret and then give the pieces to a number of your loved ones, but with data trusted to corporations this has never been an option. Thank you Google! I hope others follow suit.
