Balls don't go down, everyone has one life left, still two minutes. Not a perfect system, but better than what we currently have.

Overtime now: Skilless sin-juicing derpdom. You literally kill yourself and switch to sin when it comes.

Overtime then: Your life is paramount, you still have to counter defenses, and choosing how safe you are before OT starts becomes a tactical decision.

Assassins with Cloak 3 will still have the advantage. How bout, buff the MB back to 10000 health, make it drop in OT, and implement the one life change.

However, this will encourage more turtling, making Gunners even more mandatory than they already are.

This is actualy really cool, it might work but it may need testing with normal players too see how they would act. Maybe have all players fight in a certain part of the arena?

That would be stupid, thanks to things like juice.

Edit: Also assassin would be useless in OT then.
Just have it that you are not allowed to switch classex x amount of minutes before OT. Only bad people switch classes anyway, unless it's at the beginning of a match because you picked the wrong one.

With moneyball down at 10k, a sin wouldn't be able to 1-juice it and save the day. This sounds good, but it also means that a sin is less likely to do it. Sudden death makes players far more appetizing than the moneyball.

We run into the issue of players buying juice at overtime to slay other players, this isn't as easy to do if the player is in his base. If both teams are turtled up, we actually get to see Top-cash-wins implemented for the first time ever. I like this, because it means the team that was dominating the map the entire game wins like it rightfully should - not the team with 1 non-brainless sin killing left bots and a hacked rockit 3 on the right while the rest of the base is in disarray.

People often say Gunner is mandatory for turret killing, this intrigues me. A juiced gunner can assuredly destroy any fortification, but he only gets there due to enemy negligence. You bring him to destroy level 3 rockits, but why were the rockits allowed to reach level 3 in the first place? He's there to overpower a support on his turret, which means there's a lack of team cooperation in removing the support. I'm always wanting a team of 6 different classes, but "mandatory" for turret killing doesn't feel like the right title.

Juice on the ball you mean? Because that would be wrong.

And that pretty much defeats the point of the game.

I'd rather juice was disabled completely in OT. Not the stations themselves, but you actually can't physically juice as soon as OT occurs. This way, juice has to be used before the whistle starts and juice is unusable. That way, both teams can have a 'mad dash' near the end to storm the enemy base and try to get their bots in, rather than just sitting on juice and blowing it all on the ball. Plus, assassins (or anyone else) can still ninja the ball, but the other team has a chance to react and remove them before the ball is completely destroyed.

Anything's better than a sin just getting to the most inaccessable spot and juice-shuriken-ing it anyway.
