We joined a game that i had created with 7 planets, weather this is intentional or not, we had 2 planets immediately, and i mean immediately, sound off sirens, you can guess what happened next, annihilation, before you could enter a command. Considering this exploit completely kills the fun and makes the game unplayable i say we take action to stop this, how this is done i dont know. In the end my team who hosted the game, won the cosmic lottery and made it look like we hacked to win, which is not beneficial in any way, for there is no ranking system. Someone want to explain how the system of this worked. Edit: Update, used the same system and it did not happen, we used cause and effect and removed any players from the game that were in it last time.
Yeah. There's some sort of bug where you can launch a planet before the game starts or something like that.
It's caused by using a malfunctioning mod.. Mod has been fixed but other mods may cause similar issue. Issue is someone with certain mod can click the "Annihilate" button at the start of game or even before the game starts when your picking a location..
That's actually not a bad idea. Let's say you start a game on a planet, with an asteroid heading for it, and maybe have a couple minutes to get off. (Obviously so that you actually have a chance) Meanwhile attempting to do enough harassment on the enemy to maybe prevent them from leaving. Would make an interesting game mode.
