    Just had to say it.

REGRESSION: cannot bind to command key: PA#4057

You had it working, and now that you've broken it it's taking you over two months to fix. Seriously.
Having command key support (hell, really should be default on Mac) is like Mac OS support 101.

Please get your act together, Uber.

@chrisjshull you should see the linux support. ;)

Anyway, they're a really small company and I can't imagine they have much working on Mac, in fact I believe they only have one guy working on the Linux port. (Though to be fair I've heard he was one of the guys who ported Dota I think to linux.)

Why should my $N get me any less than a PC gamer's $N.
If you aren't going to properly support a platform:
    1) make a note in your "supported" platforms
    2) charge <$N on that platform

Agreed, I've always hated it. Those old advertisements by apple ruined it. PC means personal computer; not windows. -.-

    Windows master race*

I'm just one of the many people that don't know how it works. PC sorta became a windows thing according to youtube comments. :p

Macs arent as well built to play games as windows are, and its hard to do cross-platform games

Still as a recent Mac owner, who brought a second key, in order to help support the company, and who's game constantly crashes... I can't help but agree with the sentiments of this thread.
They shouldn't put it out on Mac and Linux, if they are not going to support it.

I'm sure it will get fixed however "you're mak support is sh%%" Is possibly not the politest way of bringing this to there attention.

If you complained like that about the food in the pub I used to work at, you're food would probably end up with saliva content. ;)

Honestly PA runs perfectly on my macbook pro. I have had issues before (black textures, HDR overload, SSAO causing weird stuff,...) but those have been fixed. I haven't had any problems recently.

Personally I'm running game with "--software-ui" and only glitch I have it's black screen after game till window resized, but it's not actually Linux-only bug. Agree that bug with Coherent should be solved, but unfortunately it's not just Uber issue. :-(

Unfortunately stability on Mac is far from perfect from what I see, but this might be related to driver specifics too.

Seriously I'm have no idea about this bin, but before AMD OpenGL drivers on Mac was plain trash just like they're on Linux and there is no working open source replacement. Also having two GPUs is even more useless because CrossFireX never worked well with OpenGL.

they can't be. Mac chose AMD, they must've worked something out with them.

and that little bin is equipped with the following : https://www.apple.com/mac-pro/ just click click click

Unfortunately it's likely targeted for professional software like Maya, AutoCAD where AMD drivers works reasonable well because this software don't change for ages and AMD actually care about this market.

When it's come to games performance become isn't that well at all.

Look, I filed a bug report like a good little boy two months ago.

Here's another Mac bug I filed a whole four months ago: PA#3795
Yup, that's right, Mac/steam users don't even get a proper app icon.

    Seriously. That's just amateur hour.

They can't be? Because Mac chose AMD? Now that is some good argument .

Here is a good read on the topic:
    http://richg42.blogspot.de/2014/05/the-truth-on-opengl-driver-quality.html
(Hint: Vendor A is Nvidia and Vendor B is AMD)

Coming from the visualisation industry I can say: You don't want an AMD graphics gard in your computer for professional work related to 3D stuff.
The Mac Pro situation is a bit awkward since you mostly want an AMD GPU for gaming, which you will find yourself in a bad place anyway when you have a Mac. And since the Mac Pro is aimed at professional work, I don't really see a place for it, but that is another discussion altogether.

Depends. You don't necessarily want one as a consumer, but as a dev, you sure do. And be it just for tools like this one: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/archive/amd-gdebugger/
