Mac Chat and Full Screen?

The Mac Client doesn’t seem to support full screen or chatting on OS X 10.10. Can someone tell me if Idoing something wrong?

I'm on a Mac and chat works for me. Simply press return and type and return to send.

Fullscreen does not work though. I'm pretty sure that's even a confirmed bug on the bug tracker.

Scratch that. On the latest build, .57154 I cannot chat.

tl;dr Use the 'fn' key on a Mac keyboard to turn Return into Enter, and chat away.


I'm not sure how many Mac folks are running into this chat issue, but it was frustrating me. Quoting my workaround/solution to this thread for increased awareness.

Confirmed. I've been using the enter key on the numpad since return doesn't work.
