    PAStats and PAChat do neither of those things. It's not discovering your credit card number, your phone number, or your address. It's discovering the renames of the account that's on Uber's service, which is perfectly permissible. Now, please exit the forums, dear troll.

    Time for another response from a non-Uber employee! Albiet one who has had experience with Uber requesting the take down of my mods, etc. So I'm not directly targeting this reply directly at 7nero, although I do suspect it will be read by him :)

    First point: I believe there is a distinct difference between the afformentioned "source code" of PA, in that it is mostly unreadable and inaccessible, and the non-compiled, easily accessible UI code, scripts, and stuff that mods deal with. I believe the community has been given the permission to effectively do almost anything we want in regards to those UI files, as is obvious by very complex mods that quite deeply interact with the game, like the minimap mod, which Uber have somewhat assisted in creating.

    Second point: I believe "personal information" in this context is used in regards to "real life" identity, so things like real name, address, bank details, etc. Uber IDs and username histories, while somewhat "personal", wouldn't fall into this category because through these you can't really figure out a persons private details like those mentioned above (I.e. you can't say "ah yes ID 2f3, that's John Smith who lives at..."), and they are relatively easily accessible by using the UI tools that Uber has supplied with the game (Coherent UI debugger, verra nice). We have also had many instances in the past where users have changed their names several times, but have had their account monitored with Uber IDs. For example the wonderful work many people did with PA-Stats, where accounts rather than names have been used to set up skill based ladders. Uber has not only not condoned this behaviour, but has in fact assisted in the creation of mods and external sites that use this data, in terms of replying to mod creators PMs and forum posts. Also everyone is Neptunio.

    I can write essays too!

    TL;DR mods are fine.

    @7nero
    Then, why did you post it here in the first place? If you don't want to discuss, don't post it in the forum.

    If you want an official statement on a particular matter, try to contact Uber Entertainment directly.

    Modding is allowed. Everything MikeyH is doing is allowed. The developers hang out in chat. They know what you've done. The only response you are going to get is a ban.

    Please uber answer his question. He never got enough attention from his parents so he feels he need to get it from the Internet.

    Please uber, feed the troll instead of spending your time in improving your awesome game.

    I'll just post some words here, just for fun.
    So why you didn't contact customer support at first place?

    Because this is funny.
    After post #10, where cdrkf pointed out that thread bumping isn't allowed, he edited all the "Bump."-posts into "Check."-posts, as if the word you post in a bump had any meaning whether it is bumping or not.

    Forum likes ease the pain of our broken and despair-inducing reality.
