Hey there, I recently started playing PA again since Titans was released and I have some problems. Everytime I end a match the "Quit to Main Menu" Button doesn't work and I have to end the whole game in my task manager. I did that like 5-10 times and now I can't create a new multiplayer game because I get an "Login to Server Rejected" error which takes me back to the main menu. System is running Windows 10, latest updates etc. Server is EUWest What can I do to solve this? Cheers Phil
The rejected part is because there was a problem with Uber's servers. At least quite a few people on global chat were having trouble joining servers. As for the quit to main menu button not working. Have you ever used mods? If so, try starting PA with the --nomods parameter.
Login works again but I still have the problem with quitting the game. No I have never used mods and I have the problem with PA and PA Titans. Everything else works, I can see stats or click on the replay button so I the game has not really crashed. It's just the "Quit to Main Menu" Button or if I play Galatic War the "Continue War" Button as well.
Could you upload a PA log? You can find those in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log". Just copy-paste that whole thing in the address bar of Explorer. There are likely quite a lot there. Just delete them all, start PA and press the Quit to Main Menu a few times. Then quit PA and upload the log here using the "Upload a File" on this forum.
Well, that all looks ok. I was expecting a JavaScript error in there, but it seems fine. I am wondering though if a virus scanner of firewall might be interfering as the UI for PA is basically a web browser (it's based on Chromium). Could you try disabling all of that stuff and try again?
Turning off the Bitdefender Firewall seems to work. Will try to add a rule for PA and then have a look again but huge thanks for helping me.
