I'd like to see a lot more lobby control. Either be able to choose how long the wait time is before the match begins, or with the "ready" capability. This is much well suited for teams who want to match up against other teams. And perhaps putting in an option, so you can either choose teamside and lock on that team, instead of just choosing your desired team. All of this, I'd obviously just like to see as something you can choose between. So it doesn't have to be this restricted if you're just playing ffa. The main focus of what I'd like to see, is for when playing versus other teams though.
I... uhh think I got aids from reading that. So, if I understand correctly: You want bigger team stacks? edit: Ready system for scrims would be nice, but I really didn't understand much else you wrote. :|
I think he means the option to add these things to a server you put up, not having them as default. Basically all of these things would make organized matches easier. Though according to the latest patch notes, you can now set a minimum number of players required before a match starts, which would take care of the not starting until both teams are ready thing. Because of this addition the rest of the ideas in the OP don't really seem necessary if we are indeed talking about organized matches (for example, set minimum 12 players, so countdown doesn't start until everyone has joined, and everyone can choose their correct teams so they should get their pick if it's a clan match or something)
Well yeah it sure helps a lot with the capability of setting minimum start players, but be it a clan match or not, I'd like to be able to play with 5 other friends on my team. And the chances are slim if everyone in the lobby chooses blue side. Personally I'm not sure how you'd get it to work with prioritizing, but I can imagine you'd probably need some sort of admin log in, in the lobby. Might work.
You approve teamstacking in that case. That would kill the game. Sorry, maybe if this game had 12v12 you could have you friends join you and it wouldn't kill the game. However, 5 friends on the same side of a team of 6 would definitely be better against 6 random pub players. :|
Obviously you're misunderstanding me. Read the first line: "Well yeah it sure helps a lot with the capability of setting minimum start players" That was a comment to what The Noid mentioned about having 12 players be minimum. And at the rate people join servers, I wouldn't see an issue with that. So basically you wouldn't end up with the issue of 6 against 1.
