1. A glitch causes assassins to become traped and invulnerable in place. They can also cloak and fire under cloak. I am not sure what this glitch is but it has cost me 2 rounds. 2.I have been shot in the back, and the sniper has recieved headshots. On ppl like the assault, this make sense. On tanks and gunners - this does not. 3. The default tank setup is almost unusable. 4. Traps should stop someone dead - an assasin should not be able to lunge and grapple me thorugh a trap.
1. we know. thanks. 2. yup, and...? it's balance. if all you had to do was turn around to avoid headshots, how easy would that be? 3. soooooo... custom classes ftw? 4. yes. maybe they'll change it, but it doesnt bother me too much cause the easier thing to do is lay traps further away from your body.
Tank's railgun effectively allows skilled players to no-scope godstomp everyone without teamwork, and I mean like 3-4 vs. 1 teamwork. To have to do this throughout an entire match can be seen as not worth it. Sniper (despite whenever I try to use it it doesn't seem to reg half the time) + Most possible amount of health + massive default clip + Total Recoil = Same RoF, sameish damage, higher mobility than scoped sniper without accuracy penalty, mobility prevents headshots, can shoot from beyond most classes effective range. Eep. On 360 this makes sense cos without a scope to precision aim it would be harder to manage long range shots, but I've found a tank player who won't stop playing tank because he can solo roll enemy pros by completely ignoring the tank's intended role of lane pushing to wipe out the enemy team, allowing his team to deal with the bots with ease, simply because he has a mouse and a railgun. :/
railgun tanks are annoying for sure, but I've never seen one that comes close to the effectiveness (as far as winning the game) as a good well-rounded tank
