To all fellow gentlemen, we should discuss and define gentlemen's rules.
    Obviously balanced economy is essential.
Shall we discuss what is allowable what isn't?
I think aquatic bots are fine if they can survive in on moon as in the trailer they should be wter proof.
    Aquatic tanks is debateable though.
Any suggestions heeded should be debateable.
I tip my hat to you fellows for an enjoyable discussion

I assumed the amphibious nature of all present land vehicles was just a product of the alpha.

Water has to be a barrier or it's basically just blue coloured ground. It's impassable terrain and should fulfill a use tactically to create choke points, etc.

I am all for specific amphibious units. Ships that sprout legs (Cybran destroyers) or hover units but it should be specific unit type with utility in exchange for firepower/durability/etc (i.e. balance).

You are correct this is why this thread has been made but if we attempt to play by gentlemen rules should we abuse the fact we can answer naval units with underwater tanks? Sure if the ships get too close to the land thats a fair counter but underwater.
Basically we know it's not allowed in the final build but if we play like gentlemen should we continue?

I for one don't stack buildings since I think it is kinda lame. Once had a guy in a game where it took over 2 minutes to kill his single stacked powerplant with 20 bots.

    Very good initiative.
I would to propose those two points:
-Only build extractor on metal spots.
-Do not stack buildings ( except for T2 extractor over T1 ? )

    I'd say further:

While hilarious, avoid building on areas that clearly are not meant to be built upon (the tips of mountains, on the side of mountains, at the bottom of a ravine. Rule of thumb: if there is a reasonable doubt that the building could fit there physically, it does not belong).

Metal points I think at the moment are a bit difficult because you have to argue that yes in the future it will be, but any true gentleman would build an orderly base.
Stacking of buildings though is a completely immoral build.
