It's nice that the game keep track of how long a player has been playing MNC and expresses that in terms of levels. It gives a sense of accomplishment and a mark of distinction. It also gives a rough idea of how experienced the player is at MNC. Why doesn't the game use this number when creating teams in public games? 1.) If we believe that levels equal better players, then teams organized with roughly even levels will result in better games because they are more even. 2.) Even if we don't believe that levels make better players, it is beneficial to morale among those who do. For any who believes that lvl 2 players will not contribute as much as a 50+, seeing your entire team stacked with single digit players, be 1 man down, while the other team is filled with 30+'s, one can feel like the game is actively trying to f you. Even though this may not be true, that you will lose because of in experienced teammates, that negative feeling alone is off-putting. So - how hard would it be to have the public game team matching software take player levels into account and try to balance the levels?
