Level 99 blues.

Am I the only one that hates being a level 99? When the game is over, you get to watch as your "rank up" meter colors outside the lines and off of the screen. There isn't any more watching as the bar fills up right to the very edge and you think to yourself: "Just one more. Just one more game 'til I hit that next level."

Granted, with all the other bugs and exploits out there this is a minor annoyance, but it would be nice to maybe reset back to a level 1, just so I have somewhere to go. Anyone else think this?

Earlier I was thinking if we could choose our number at 99 just so we don't get called nerds who stay at home all day. But then you get problems determining who to attack even though a lvl 1 can be better than a lvl 64 who has played Blitz Scramble non stop (aka-me).
I'm no lvl 99 but I still hate being singled out because of my rank and not my skill. Oh, please don't make rank reflect skill! I love it as time played

I was thinking that cause I'm pretty sure your suit says your rank so you could be 42 all day long.

I guess a reset switch would also be good for people who like to know how well they are doing and have something to look forward to.

I honestly don't even pay attention to my in game level. Right now I believe I am at level 81 or so. It's actually funny to hear players in game make fun of me for how bad or how low my level is, as long as I have fun who cares. That doesn't stop me from being MVP on my team and all. Even with 5 or under kills. :lol:

i also dont pay attention to my rank, like not at all, like im around lvl 61-66.

if there were goodies to rank up for, id be cool. OR if there was a reset switch, id be cool.

BUT!!!! if there was goodies to level up for AND a reset switch that also reset those AND more goodies to unlock as you reset multiple times, i WILL AND IM NOT (edit:KIDDING) fire multiple shotgun rounds into my xbox.

i have the shotgun and an extra xbox and i live out in the woods. dont test me, im very emotional over years of playing call of duty and hearing people who want popped in the mouth for mentioning my rank/prestige.

i dont flippin like prestiging, get over it! you can cry all day long about how i wont press the prestige button, but unless you hack my account and reset it yourself, im guna keep cramming my throwing knive into your skull AS A LVL 70 NON-PRESTIGE! NOBODY ON MW2 WILL LEMME ALONE, THANK GOD I DUMPED THAT GAME!

Im level 99 and ranked 300 something in earning/kill/wins my friends always say wow but i could careless what i care about more is getting 2500 bomb kills!!! Honestly somedays i suck and somedays i suck but i have fun...unless i join a pub and see a group of you forums guys then all that's running through my head is "oh* ***"

I definitely agree with this. Well, something to indict you reset, but yeah. I liked looking forward to levels, now it's that endless stream of noise

You guys really want to go beyond 99?

I don't. I don't see the reason why?...

here is a list of ideas...

~being able to restart to 0, OPTIONAL AND WITHOUT REWARD IF YOU DO

~something to work towards after 99, well i guess there are career milestones but something unlocked to do like that when your 99

~perhaps when your 99 your number changes a certain color and you can change the number (you can have number 14 or something and since its colors different, you can tell its not an actual beginner 14)

some others might have other ideas... but other than these, im fine with the current cap and all. maybe if you added other unlockables at a future date, you can associate them with a rank. i hope if you extend the rank to be higher/unlimited, you dont make any unlockables at 1293 lol. im not going to play until i reach that rank, im guna shoot my xbox (as mentioned earlier)

Yup. BoltAktion has about 50% more Crossfire earnings than I do, but we have the same rank. It just doesn't seem right to me.

Another suggestion would be to double the amount of earnings it takes to get to 99. So a 44 would now be a 22, I might go from 99 to 60, but Bolt might still be in the 90's. It's just fun to have something to work for.

I would like a cap bump and to like maybe 150 and then at lvl 150 you get diffrent clothing to change into that doesnt give anything different to char. but just looks.

I don't think 3 digits work. Why is the cap 99 and not 100?

what is even funny'er is that it had a thing that said next lvl 100 and so they did think about making a lvl 100

I hate being level 99 and playing with friends (who are also 99) and not being able to start a game because people get in and immediately back out. Or even worse back out once the teams are established.

What I Would Like to See:

Once you hit 99, you can start over. No custom classes, but keep your career stats and and all tags. When you start over though, you get a new skin for each class. This way games will still start, but you can quickly identify high level players by their skin.

Although the skins would have to look cool...

When we all hit 99 way back when in august.... my friends said after you hit 99 you should need another 2 million in earnings to reach rank bacon. After having seen how people behave I don't think this would be a good idea.

I don't want there to be a level beyond 99. Eventually most people will get there.... but it's a shame to see people leave when they see multiple 99's on the enemy team. I guess they don't know that many players who are 99 can't actually play the game well.

A higher level cap will only encourage people to play with me less.

There could be a symbol for going beyond 99, or have a number in brackets to show how many times you've "prestieged." ie otb1369 (3) <- like 3rd time around.

how about an infinite level cap
