Do you guys feel that they're worth buying at all? If the enemy team has a decent assassin it's as good as paper mache. I don't see the point to them costs to much which is better used at the juice machine... So does anyone bother upgrading them that high anymore?

A 3.3 Rockit is a beautiful thing, capable of destroying anything that comes near it. Throw one up if you can spare the cash.

Keep it hacked and overhealed. Shotgun the Assassin when she Juices on it.

Haha, but the only time I seem to be able to choke up the money fo one is when i'm playing a gunner and for reasons unknown supports never feel the need to hack it or support it. But if it's that good i'll make sure i play more with a support who doesn't mind taking care of it

becaiuse you met many stupid supports! as sensitive says a 3.3 rocket is the best for attack and defense! if your support has rof x3 he cal heal faster then the enemies attack so he can charge his juice..the enemies are stupid if they try to shot the turret while a support his healing it...if the enemies are 3 or more this have sense!

As long as you push bots well, there is no need for turrets.

A 3.3 Rock-It on the forward nub of Spunky is hugely important, and having decent Turrets up means you have a wider safety zone to retreat to if the poop gets real.

Any decent team will have that turret down before it can become a 3.3

But when you play pubsrofl and you're repeatedly exchanging map control, a 3.3 helps keep you from getting pushed all the way back to your base.

3.3 Rock-its are great, but the problem is the .3
Supports don't feel the need to heal or hack anything but their firebase or a turret they built.

Any decent team will talk to their teammates and make sure they have enough money to buy it to level 3 and never see the turret at level 1 or 2 so the assassin or someone cant kill it. While its being upgraded to 3, the support has a great opportunity to hide behind it and hack it to level 3 quick. The faster you get that turret up, the faster your team wins on spunky. Their assassin wont make it onto your side of the map with a firebase 2.3 and 3.3 rocket turret shooting at your bots as she tries to destroy them. Now your job is to just over heal everybody and make sure you over heal the turret or grapple the juiced player.

The key to a level three rocket turret, as others have said, is keeping it hacked and overhealed. When an assassin jumps your turret, you have a few ways to deal with them:

    1. If you see a juiced assassin coming, airstrike your own turret. It won't do any damage to your turret, but it will kill the assassin.

    2. If you grapple the juiced assassin while the turret is alive, you can give your turret time to put in more damage on the assassin, forcing them to retreat or die.

    3. If you are playing tank or assault, charge them away.

    4. If possible, use ejectors to ring them out before they get your turret.

Tanks can take down a rocket turret quicker than an assassin, I know from experience. :D

I like to play support and the way I usually do things is, I have bronze skill so I can keep about 3 turrets hacked at a time. I keep my firebase, and the two money ball rockits hacked. I wait until I have 900 and then upgrade right to lvl 3 and since they are already hacked, I immediately overheal them. When assassins show up, I grapple and the rockit kills them for me. If for some reason they haven't died, a blast of bullets in her face does the trick :)
