Okay, let's say you had a really large budget and you could make any game you wanted, what would it be?

Personally I'd probably go for a fantasy action RPG with turn based strategy elements placed in Tolkien's Middle-earth.
Main character: the Witch King of Angmar (the leader of the ring wraiths aka Nazgul)

Gameplay: You lead the Witch King during his rise to power in a mix of KotOR and Overlord. You have minions to help you fight in battles, can corrupt subdued heroes to serve you, create/find powerful upgradeable items (for you and your 'staff'), conquer settlements and harvest their resources and people to create a powerful empire.

Battles are fought in pausable realtime like in Dragon Age (you can choose 3 of your heroes to help you, the minions are AI controlled canon fodder like in Demigod). You have to accomplish different goals in each battle (take a fortified position, hold a bridge, capture a ship...). Once you have achieved your goal the opposing hero will step forward and you fight him in a duel (bossfight, you and your heroes against him and his officers). At the end you can choose to drag him away to your dungeon or you can just drain his power and life force to become a more powerful mage/fighter yourself.

Between missions you can rule and improve your empire turn based on a 2D map. Use your minions to mine gold, build powerful towers, gather 'taxes' (food, slaves, iron...). Captured heroes can be used to force a truce with his side, make him reveal the location of treasure and powerful magical items or he can be turned to fight beside you. You have to make a decision here. Do you want to increase your battle stats (unlock the location of magical items), add him to your available heroes or use him to get one faction to back off for a while. (You can still use him later though.)

    Locations:
Major battles take place in specific locations and you have to fulfill several goals before you meet the boss (seize the gate, destroy the ballistas, capture the halls of healing... until you confront the hero in his keep). Depending on your opponent you fight in cities, towers, mines, the deep forest or on ships.
Battles for territory/resources are shorter and and only include one goal and a boss fight.
Magical items/treasure is located in dungeons, boss fight against creatures. You can also find mounts like fast horses, Wargs, Fell Beasts... for your heroes and yourself. They are useful for traveling faster on the strategy map (they act as +speed/fear items). Certain items can be combined into more powerful items.

You and your heroes cannot die (Nazgul cannot be killed) but you can be defeated. If this happens you will return to your dark citadel and your minions will restore you. To do so they will sacrifice slaves, gold and magical power - you will live to fight another day but at a price.

The closer you are to your dark citadel the stronger you are. Enemies will cower in fear close to your citadel. Should you loose a territory and have to fall back you will be closer to your source of power and will return stronger to defend the next territory. Smaller citadel towers can be build in your territories to increase your power. The fear you spread is the major resource of the strategy part, other resources serve to increase fear (towers, armies, magical items, acquired monsters...)

    This one is easy!

    Road Rash 360.

Gameplay: It would be a free-roaming environment ala Burnout Paradise or GTA 4. 90% of the time you would be ON your motorcycle, but each would have its own "class". You would have bikes with power, agility, speed, control, etc.

You can upgrade your character's clothing and gear. Not to mention the looks -- tattoo'd, helmet, decals, leather jacket, pants color, etc.

Locations: The area would need to be HUGE with many, many, many potential "random events". I would also add in biker gangs. Each gang has a rival and when you join it opens up certain missions. *CHOICES* would be the selling point. You make certain choices and that opens up paths to certain upgrades.

Weapons: Chains, pipes, bats, knives, kicking & punching.

I only liked the SEGA genesis/master system Road Rashes, I played Road Rash 64 and its just not meant to be a 3D game.

I liked it how it was and straight road and you had to beat up the other guys to win but with the 3D road rashes its kinda try to stay on the road type thing.

I've only played Road Rash 1,2,3 and 64 not sure what any others were like.

I pretty much stopped playing GTA after Vice City. I totally love the whole Italian mafia thing and it was the best game of the franchise for me. And I loved the bikes they had. Sounds like a nice idea, I'd play that. :)

I want an MMORTS (more on the lines of RTT than true RTS). funnily enough, my brother, and dad also want a game like this.

each player controls a squad or two of dudes, or maybe a tank... either way, very small pop. cap, and fights on a moving front alongside a hundred other players.

Hmm...MMO RTS. Can you give ANY other info (if we were to guess) or is it a "I'd tell you but I'd have to kill you" situation?

Have you checked out Shattered Galaxy?

Bad game play vid (Sorry couldnt find a good one)

    Website (free download)

Its a MMO-RTS-RPG thats free to play (pay for extras), You control 6-12 units depending on your tactics lvl and buy units lvl them up and equip them with weapons and armor and stuff.
Its difficult if your just starting out but it becomes easier once you start lvling your units and equiping better stuff.

The aim of the game is pretty much defend your territory against the other two teams and become stronger, About 30-40 people can be in a battle at one time.(depending on the average lvl of members on each team)

So yeah its quite a good game if you want to check it out.
