Not sure if this is a glitch, bug, or I am just stupid but this happened. This is how I spawned and I was not able to do much. I tried to do a naval factory but i couldn't afford it. Had to end it and start over.

So.........what does this have to do with the Feasibility of Lava planets as starting planets? you can do things very similar in other biomes too.

To be frank, this is more so an issue because of you selecting that as a start point. Only if your other 2 starting locations where the same as this one would it be a problem even.

Also how could you not afford a Naval Factory? Between the fact that Commanders generate resources and the Rate Based Economy given time it alone can afford anything.

1 - You know you can pick your position, right?
2 - There is no "can't afford" in PA because of streaming economy.
3 - As far as I remember lava is not impassable yet. It's just glowing ground. This is why you couldn't place naval factory on it - it's not water.

Haha once my commander started down in a in a crater on a moon. It took some frantic clicking but I got him out in the end with a glitch.
