Hello! First post here, hey everybody. So I excitedly downloaded the palauncher from uber this morning, excited to spend a friday off playing Planetary annihilation. Unfortunately, I had to file bug #140 I run pasetup, it extracts, then auto runs palauncher which crashes immediately. Anyone else having a similar problem? Any ideas for solutions? I've tried restarting, making sure I'm updated, running in various compatibility modes, etc. Nothing!
Try installing the latest DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35 As well as read: viewtopic.php?f=71&t=47043
Will you please try repairing your .NET install (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306160) or else install whatever the latest .NET version is for your OS. And post here if this does not clear up your launcher problem.
Just tried everything suggested both here and in the thread linked by Lennard. Nothing changed anything, sadly, still getting the exact same crash (and I was up to date with everything I tried to update/install)
You don't need launcher to play the game, so download it on other computer (or virtual machine) and copy game on your.
