LAG! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION UberEntertainment!

    Hi.
    Uber Entertainment - I "loooove what you do", I really do. This game is amazing. But after the update, I've just been so disappointed and it really kills my will to play. Here is why...

    Me (GT: Crispy Mazilla) and my friend (GT: Guacamolen), have been experiencing heavy lag. Sometimes we play on seperate accounts, I play on mine and he on his but mostly, we play via "XBOX Live Guest" alot.

    Now. We've been playing (since the update) for about 14-19 hours maybe. And EVERYTIME, NO MATTER connection, NO MATTER host, it lags tremendously. Out of maybe 10 games, we get disconnected from 6.

    And we've been accepting it, we were just thinking "maybe it's because of the update being fresh or something" but NO - it wont change.

    Before the update, sure, we could experience some minor lag problems but it wasn't close to the lag that is now.

    Here's an example. We spawn. It takes about 3-5 seconds for us to buy upgrades (at this point, everyone has left the base). When we buy em, it freezes for 1-2 seconds. First AFTER that, we can get out of the spawn (now this is valuable time we're talking here if you're a offensive rusher). In close-combat, the (Support class) shotgun doesnt register for ****. I can't grapple anyone. When I'm juiced, I die instantly. No matter the situation. It's like I'm weaker than the "non-juiced state". And the charge (Assault class) never grapples. I have to check 14-20 times maybe if, "hey, maybe I didn't upgrade it to 3" - BUT I DID. AND I HAVE DONE THAT EVERY TIME THIS HAPPENS.

    Note to Uberent - this happens EVERY GODDAMN TIME WE'RE PLAYING SINCE THE UPDATE. It's like it's a part of the game!

    Now I'm not mad at you Uberent. Sorry for my foul language but please respect my anger. You have to understand. It's like being a professional soccer-player and suddenly, you have to play with one leg. You did an amazing job with this game. I absolutely love it. It just makes me so sad. We used to have MNC-gatherings where we played for hours. Now the flame is just... gone. When bringing up a MNC party game as an idea for something to do, there is just sighs everywhere... no ones up for it anymore. And it is such a SHAME. For it is a marvellous game.

    I know there is a support thread etc. but I NEED your attention on this one. You can delete the thread as soon as you've seen it, I just want you to see it. Because I know what MNC once upon time has been, and I would rather chop of a hand than see it become one of those Arcade games you highlight, think about, and move on from. This game is quality. Please prove me right.

    From the sounds of it your problem is rooted in playing Split-Screen. You aren't the only one, lots of split-screen players are experiencing this. It's not internet lag, it is framerate lag. I still see plenty of split-screened players so I don't know of any fixes. Sorry.

    My brother and I are having the same problems, so it's not just you. Between the lag and the xbox locking up on us twice last night while playing in split screen mode, I think we're going to have to stick to single-player (and backseat driver) until the issue is fixed. It makes what was once an incredibly fun game turn into an incredibly frustrating experience.

    It's not just a connection problem, it's splitscreen. Since the DLC-update dropped splitscreen is unplayable due to epic frame drops.

    Yeah, my NAT is open and it runs fine in full screen mode. The lag/frame dropping/stuttering only occurs during split screen play.

    Unfortunately, Uber doesn't seem to think this is enough of a problem to even acknowledge it, let alone address it.

    It has annoyed my wife enough that she's gone back to playing Dragon's Age while I MNC it.

    I was just about to write again to tell you guys that we, too, realized that the lag is restricted to split-screen. So yeah... well thank you everyone for your sympathy. I guess I'll just have to wait for christmas, when I (hopefully) can buy a new TV. Then we'll just play on LIVE. But again, thanks for your answers. Felt really nice.

    UBERENT: Please, fix this! It used to be such a nice feature!
