I'm having an issue where my game is having units disappear and reappear where they should be. Kind of like desyncing and then resyncing. I have no idea what's causing it but it's making my game unplayable. I can't move my units without them being super unresponsive and I don't get a refresh until 3 seconds later. It freezes, stops, then starts again but the units just teleport to where they should be instead of the game flowing normally.

Sorry if I awfully described it. I just didn't quite know how to put it into words.

The effect you describe is sometimes called "Rubberbanding". And it is caused by network lag and the client and server desynching/resynching.

I don't have any issues on my end and nobody else reported it, so it is propably something with your internet. You need a pretty decent downstream (2-5 Mbit) for this game.

I have the best internet in my area (50mbit dl/ul) so I have no idea why it would be doing that. I'll look into it on my side of things though. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Using wi-fi by any chance? That could do it.

No, I use an ethernet cable. So that can't be it.

I had regular disconnect issues until I replaced my router. An alternate firmware was just as effective, but I ended up swapping hardware anyway because the used I one got as a spare in case I bricked it had better specs.
