Killing the Moneyball from spawn as Gunner.

    I was playing MNc last night and when our moneyball got down the gunners were Morter-ing our moneyball all the way from their spawn. IDK what the arena was called but ill get its name for Uber.

    I've had it happen to me on Grenade III....and it sucks.

    This can be done on Grenade III, Ammomule, LazeRazor, and Spunky.

    And it needs to be fixed.

    Also correct, but that's not the largest problem in this thread.

    We need people to quit making threads that already exist. Maybe he legitimately didn't know that there was already a thread, maybe he is new to the forums (unlike those who post about XBox360 updates, they know what they are doing :evil: ).

    However, once everybody learns that they can aim high into the air and fire mortars, and they will come down on the moneyball and keep it down all the way from your spawn (helps to practice in a private split-screen match), then the game will not be playable as intended ever again. Needs to be fixed eventually.

    Worse that can happen I suppose, is that the game is retarded on Xbox, and I can mod a fix for it on steam and just play it there. If it was me, I would just add a small area of roof. Longshots don't normally hit things inside the moneyball ring anyway.

    1. He has been told 3-4 times when he makes a new thread that the topic he wishes to discuss is already in existence. He has even made duplicates of his own threads! He has bypassed a topic on the first page to revive a thread that died in September.

    2. Again, please don't encourage people to exploit glitches. I really can't tell if you're that dense as to think that encouraging an exploit will get it fixed faster than it normally would.
    Why do you insist on being part of the problem?

    3. Longshots/gapshots target firebases in the spawn area. It's one of their priorities. It doesn't seem to be as simple as putting a small roof on the arena.

    A roof over the moneyball ring would stop a very few of the things that MAINLY GAPSHOTS (which are a wee bit overpowered) can do.

    In return, it FIXES major things.

    However, that's just the fix I would do if the devs never addressed it. Maybe something else would work. Point is, ANYTHING is better than base-to-base attacks. Perhaps, making a range cap thats longer than GrenADEIII's length would work, as the mortar themselves travel longer than the map's distance to go way up and back down. Maybe they can make a set altitude where the mortars explode, they shouldn't be going that high anyway.

    Finally, I don't encourage glitches anymore than anyone else. Speaking of which, everybody taunt in front of a lazorblazor for juice when the enemy builds one and stops paying attention. (EVERYONE talks about that, but I can't talk about mortars?)

    I don't think this is a problem, if they're doing it, just go kill them. If they're doing it from inside the spawn? AIRSTRIKE THEM.

    Hah. I saw a gunner doing this yesterday, and he was TERRIBLE. I mean his stats were garbage, but he was mortaring the ball on AM. It was sorta weird considering he knew to do it, yet couldn't get kills.
