Killing people instead of winning.

The moneyball is down.
You and your teammate have juice.
You have the ability to end the game right there.
You shoot up the team.

Why?



The moneyball is down.
It's rediculously easy for anybody to put a single bullet in it to keep it down.
You ignore the ball and kill pros.
Ball goes back up.

Why?



I just don't understand it. Nobody looks at you like "Oh man, these guys are terrific."

They're thinking "WTF!? I stuck around for this loss like a champ. Why are they doing this?"

A good players thinks "Great! I have Juice and I can take down this ball before I lose all my health from the other team shooting me."

Most MNC players think "Great! I have Juice and kill all these guys and then go get some more Juice and do it again."



Oh, and I like all the sigs boasting best games. If you can get 70 kills in one game, you deliberatley didn't win because the other team was garbage. That has no bragging points what so ever. It is, however, a great way to say "I'm that kind of guy."

How about not spawning killing people because it's pointless and prevents you from winning sooner.

So I have more time to shoot the moneyball. I understand your point was about simply just shooting enemies. For me though if the MB is down and there are enemy Pros around it I like to rid them first before I lay into the MB, this is of course if I am the only one on my team there.

If you have Juice, and there are three pros shooting you, you take out (we'll say) half the moneyball. Now, if you use that Juice to kill the pros, you then have (we'll say) ten seconds to damage the moneyball without Juice. That does not do as much damage to the moneyball. So, the only difference between the two (in the end) is that you did less damage to the moneyball. It's far more effective to just shoot the moneyball with Juice and dip. That way (in the end) the moneyball has half health and three pros are standing in their base. Otherwise (in the end) the moneyball has more health and there are still three pros in their base.

It's just that simple.

Idk what kind of players you play against but trying to damage their MB while juiced tends to get me knocked back, grappled or even killed before I can do any real damage.

the objective of the actual games is winning by killing the money ball but the incentive to keep playin is the protags and protags require kills so kills r better than winning

I defy you to try to hurt the moneyball, juiced or otherwise, while playing a game against Hudson and like-minded lackeys. They will crowd control you SO hard, your mother will feel it. She will then call you and make you miserable about not calling more often or the state of your wardrobe. I've found out through dire experience that the best thing to do is clear out the spawn first, then let the next person in the rotation juice and hurt the money ball. If you're playing against experienced players, you can't take the risk that they'll grapple you, ring you out, or wear you down.

There is not a single thing in the game that gives you incentives to hit the moneyball or win quickly. If you are good enough to spawncamp, and its clear you are going to win, why not go for kills? You already have your skills, possibly juicing, so get kills. Almost all protags relate to pro kills.

I constantly see this, and it annoys the hell out of me.
I'm constantly running from our spawn to theirs just to keep the moneyball down, often sacrificing myself. What are my teamates doing? They're shooting up bullseye or going for pro kills.

Unless you are a class that can deploy (tank/gunner) or shoot from a safe distance (tank/sniper), this underlined portion is a generally correct statement.

You can also have two or more people juice at the same time, and have juiced player kill the group trying to CC the other one.

Link routinely does my favorite crowd control ive ever seen: Drop three air strikes in wide spread pattern then grapple you in them. Suicide crowd control.

I'm all for continually killing people as they leave their spawn while hitting the money ball once every 30 seconds or just letting our bots kill 100% of the money ball.

Just because you CAN end the game quickly does not mean you absolutely have to, especially if you are trying to unlock protags.

In a game where we come up against competent players? Yeah I'll be pushing bots with a negative K/D and melting the moneyball ASAP.

In public matches? I'll be melting you while our bots melt the moneyball. I'll be trying out new builds. I'll be trying out new skill selections. I want my last product grenade protag dammit!

I got one of the sickest Product Grenade kills the other day. I surprised a Gunner trying to exit his bases upper ring out the front on Steel Peel. I had his health in red when an Assault tried to come to his rescue. While I was trying to deal with the Assault the Gunner Jump jetted away and I smacked him with the nade and he had a flying death. I also killed the Assault by Death Blossoming then Charging. I was pretty thrilled.

That's pretty nice. My favorites so far are rail gun grappling a pro off the map then hitting them in mid air with one.

That and my triple from cluster bombs.

if u wanna win team up with some faggots and hey looks its a recipe for success. i play with randoms so i dont care about trying to get a bunch of people without mics to work together. if i kill ur entire team several times in a row my teammates will end up at ur ballz

I would never play a game longer than 2 minutes if I actually pushed the moneyball. I'd much rather play a 15 minute game where I lose in OT and feel like I actually PLAYED A VIDEO GAME.
