8 player FFA 2 planets each with a moon. furious competition on the planet, I was nearly overrun several times, nuked, bombed, raided & bombarded. Escaped to the local moon. Counter nuked with orbital superiority. Finished with a race to build enough halleys against the remaining player who also escaped off world. Raided his moon with T2 fabbers wrecking his halleys with bots and catapults. Crashed my moon into his commander. Super Epic, love this game.
Ha awesome but how about this game I played last night: It was a 3v3 the main planet had a moon & another planet not orbiting the main which also had a moon. One enemy com was defeated and the other two left the main planet. One went to build a base on the moon orbiting the main. I landed a few t2 fabbers on the moon orbiting the main planet and built three halleys. Just before the last Halley was done the enemy noticed and quickly built a catapult and holkin & tons of turrets. The only way to prevent the catapult and holkin from killing the last Halley before it's done was to sacrifice a com. The last halley is done I press annihilate & randomly choose the other big planet, the com lands & is sent to destroy the catapult/holkin while charging thru lines of turrets...catapults/holkins start firing blowing up one halley while the com goes nuclear and takes out all the defenses within range of the halleys. Luckily destroying a halley does not stop it in the current build. But anyways the moon is on its way to destruction and I just happened to pick the planet the other com was on..lol epic.
Lol. In beta a lot of games dont work like they should, but it is amazing to hear the very few that play out perfectly to concept even this early.
I've been playing since day 1 alpha, and it was the most 'text book' game I've had. Really fun when all the elements pull together.
