Just a warning

Since I'm seeming to run into more and more forum members, I have to let you guys all know that the main time I play, at night, I am entirely unable to use my mic since my girlfriend is sleeping, and she is a VERY light sleeper.

I can hear all of you though.

Whenever I get into a match with people also on the forum, they seem to be in party chat or just don't have a mic in. Nobody talks to me...

My old group of friends used to call me Steven Seagal. But no, I can't do that. If I whisper loud enough for my mic to pick it up she hears it. From down the hall with the door most of the way closed (has to stay open in case her son throws up)

I play during the day too, but all you niche forum people only come on when it's late here

Actually i usually play between 8-11am and 6-10:30pm eastern time, unless i'm at work or sleeping, i'm usually on live, on monday night and tuesday night i'm off work, so i play all night

I always enjoy the guys who whisper quietly in my ear via xbox live. It sounds like they are trying to seduce me.

You should get her some earplugs for christmas.

I usually don't use my mic anymore, because 9/10 times it just leads me to getting seriously annoyed by someone who's being obnoxious. And I try to avoid slapping people down verbally, because that's what Jesus would do.

I think we should start making sure to switch over to game chat whenever we party up. I always thought that they way it defaulted to a private room was kinda weird.

I try and be quiet the later at night and then my mic doesn't pick up half of anything I say. Of course this is where Obi would start giggling xD But it doesn't matter about the mic thing dude. When I played against you, you were like Support every time and I swear, you're STILL cooridinated with the team and kicked butt even though you don't talk :lol:

I'm thinking about picking up one of these stereo surround sound earphones/mic combos. The Turtle Beach XLC looks good - anyone have advice?

Also, most of the miserable shut-ins that post regularly on the forum are American/Canadian - I'm Irish, so I've got a choice between that pubscrub noobtard Ian* or Plumbum 09 and Team WHR**. Though I did end up against Dead Stretch earlier today - how does my shotgun taste?

Ehh that shotgun wasn't too bad, I joined late so once I got Charge 3 I tasted no more shotguns. How did that loss taste when I came back from a 1 v 4 situation?

I was too busy being pissed off at losing my skills to fight back - and my team were pretty shite you used the Deploy-Juice trick to great effect, - you actually survived an Airstrike in Overtime, when you took down the Moneyball with the Railgun while deployed.

Its EASY to coordinate as support. Hang behind, heal your allies (I can tell when allies need healing, but I'm not exactly the most focused guy around) and let them distract the enemy to set up your 2.2 firebase. It helps that I play mario when I'm support >

And I was support pretty often because nobody else was picking him initially, so I made sure we had one by being him. I like to "fill the niche" so to speak so our team is better balanced, so I have builds for 4-5 classses. I used to have a custom for all 6 classes but I really can't stand the sniper. The only time I free a slot up to play him is when I want to roll a flak/smg gimmick build.

When you say play Mario, do you mean you jump on people's heads and squish them? Or perhaps you play as shotgun Mario, best Mario evarrr? xD

I bought the Turtle Beach X11's a while back. They're really cheap, (compared to the upper echelons of head sets) and still provide great sound quality. I feel like I'm part of games when I play them.

I'm bad at remembering / connecting forum names so don't take it personally if I don't talk to you in game.
