He's just way too OP ATM and needs a massive nerf. The fact that he hasn't been beaten in 5 best of 5s is just insane and inexcusable. Nerf him plz.
Matiz was massively nerfed the last patch. For me he is a one build wonder like when the t2 bomber was op. He was knocked the first round of the last 3 tournaments....

The reason he doesn't lose is because he knows how to beat one person with preparation. He watches the tapes, so to speak. He studies their entire build order, knows when it happens, and uses that against his enemies. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a youtube vid open on one monitor synced with the game lol.
Thats prob why I always rek him. Can't train to play me cause I don't know what i'm doing until I build my 3 energy.
Matiz has good RTS fundamentals and decision making. Just doesn't know how to play the current build super well yet. If he put the time in, wouldn't really matter whether he knew what you were going to do or not honestly. Once he nails his build, it's going to be about you reacting to him, and not the other way around. Custard really confuses me. He has pretty awesome macro in this build, and then somehow tragically loses clopsey twice in a row? All my whuts.
He spams clicks even before the game begins. As Matiz himself says, the meaningful stat is the APM in the mid-game where I think he's ~160.
