JeeSports MNC XBL 6v6 League season #1 - registration opened

Hi guys, has discussed the league has been created.
Registrations will be opened for 2 weeks after what the league will start.

i will post more info here tomorrow.

***update 1***
some more info about the structure.
1) it's a double round robin league meaning the teams will meet twice
2) we have playweeks meaning with the first starting Monday 14th March. All match of the first playweek must be played during that week. etc...
3) as requested i will increase the max allowed teams cap if we get close to it and there are more teams interested to join

Guys quick guide:
1. create an account: http://www.jeelounge.com/register (then validate it via email you receive)
2. create a clan: http://www.jeelounge.com/register
3. create a xbox360/MNC team within your clan and set yourself as the leader
4. go to http://www.jeesports.com/league/details/1/1 and press the sign up button

5. to get your teammates in the clan there are two options:
a) give them the clan page url and they click on (join group)

--> you would then be able to approve their requests via the clan request page

--> then add them to the team

b) go to their lounge and request friendship
--> once friends - go to the clan 'Invites' page as invite them to the clan
--> they receive a PM and need to approve
--> once they approved, add them to the team

Great idea.

I agree, I'm looking forward to some more competitive matches against the best, only way for me to get better! Since Coug's tournament fell apart( ), I hope this drums up enough support to have a competitive "season." I know CoR will have at least 2 or 3 teams for this so depending on how many other teams might form, is it possible the maximum teams could be lifted to 12? I don't know that it would be needed right away, but I just thought I might ask pre-emptively because I'd hate to see anyone that would want to play not be able to have that opportunity(because we have so many teams).

I'll contact the captains and get the info going around...

Heya there. It's possible. I just wanted to be conservative here.
There is technically no limit to the number of teams the league can support.
Let's see if we get 8 teams and some more willing to sign up and i will increase the cap to let them in?

My team, The Dirty Half Dozen, will probably sign up. Seeing as we're a new team, we just need to scrimmage a few times before we do.

Everyone seems to think scrimming makes your team good, scrimming improoves teamwork a little bit and individual skill a little but no devestating changes will be made. Lets take a look at the Halo 2 and 3 teams, if the team didnt place 1st or second at their 1st or maybe 2nd event event they didnt go anywhere. Scrimming is a good idea and is lots of fun, but its not going to save you.

Okay then, we'll make sure to practice in pubs.

All I'm saying is your skill level is where its at and isnt moving anytime soon unless you get taught some little tricks from the better players. I know your joking but unless you play the amount Chaos plays your not getting better from pubs.

By that logic, playing against better players in scrims is the only way of getting better.

Miracle I have to disagree, I versed triggers down in a scrimmage back in my halo 3 days with my team and even though it was a scrimmage, they showed us a couple of their tricks by us versing them and how they set up.

Yea but all im saying is that your skill level will increase tremendously with versing people in scrims that are better than you because practice is practice and practice makes perfect. Pubs are practice if you play the way you would play in a private match or a tournament match and just get in the habit of doing it that way. Im not derailing or anything, just giving my opinion behind scrims and pubs.

good god, that was a pain. It might be my own misunderstanding but it took me about 30 minutes to figure **** out.
