    I'm making a website.

    on music.

anways I've tried a ton of stuff but I'm having problems with hide/reveal calls of either the jquerry or javascript type.

I've removed the quotation marks on ids to allow myself to browse a level lower with jquerry but I was not able to figure out what quotations marks became at the third level.

    any ideas?

Not entirely sure what you're trying to achieve here; could ya give an overview? I got a vague copy of this working (sorry if I ruined any code copying it over) - a tip I normally follow is don't put " characters inside HTML code without escaping it - it can prevent the code from being parsed effectively (I removed them; Sublime Text wasn't recognising my escape characters for some reason).

    Dropbox link.

Will update as I dig some more. If I don't go to bed, haha.

EDIT: update, got a working (stripped down version) up, check the existing link for proof of concept (view source for code).

    General overall changes:

Try not to mix too much JS and JQuery. JQuery is powerful enough that you shouldn't need onclicks, etc.

EDITEDIT: not working on the web link, I blame weird script embedding.

    @Gorbles
ohmygosh thank you so very much! I'm sorry for not updating sooner but soon after posting this I figured it out:

thanks for the help though, I can't believe you went out of your way. Are you interested in modding?

It's alright, it was late at night and I always take any opportunity to practise (I'm a web and software developer by trade) :)

I'm always interested in modding (I'm a long-time modder for Dawn of War, and I'm getting into Beyond Earth), but I barely have time for anything these days (and got a baby on the way now!).

    oh congrats!!!

I can relate to the no time thing but not for the same reasons. I'm an informatics student (yes I'm a late-comer, I was busy with adventure). I'm really passionate about the G...(let's be honest) about this engine.

I don't even play! all I have the time for is foruming (which i can do in class in between two assignments) but I'm still completely curious and motivated. I wanna take a bite out of the world.

anyways it could be on regular weekly intervals, whatever day suited you the best.
