EDIT 12/4/10: I've discovered some new information to make this guide even better. Also added section for designing custom classes.

When first playing this game, the class-based system can be daunting. Many beginners first ask, "What class should I play?" Usually, this decision takes many hours of playing. With the use of this guide, you can cut that time to literally seconds!

    How To Choose Your Class

Step 1: Do you want to play the same assault class that you played in the tutorial? If so, then press A.
-Protip: When you get in game, use the tips you learned from the tutorial!

Step 2: (Advanced Learners) Scroll down through the choices. When the class you desire to play is highlighted, press A.
-Protip: You can also press up to travel to the bottom of the menu when you're at the top of it. Useful if the class you want is closer to the bottom of the screen.
-Double Protip: The left thumbstick and directional pad will both work. HAVE NOT TESTED WITH SOUTHPAW CONTROL SCHEME.

Step 3: (Expert Players) Look at what classes the rest of your team picked, then choose accordingly from the multiple classes that you should be able to play competently.

    Setting Up Your Custom Classes

Once you've earned enough lifetime earnings, you will have the option to buy custom class slots. This can be found in the locker room. You will have the options of choosing the position and endorsements of your custom class. You may choose three endorsements per class, from best to worst, gold to bronze.

Step 1: Choose some endorsements that seem useful to your character, or three endorsements with silly names. When you get in a game, see the guide above for how to choose your custom class.
-Protip: No, you cannot give your custom class a custom name. This is because you would name it something dumb.

Step 2: (Advanced Learners) While running around with the bad endorsements you picked, you will die. Take note of the endorsements used by the player that killed you. After the game, immediately change your position and endorsements to match that player's. If it killed you, it is the best.
-Protip: Try to pick the endorsements of the player that killed you the MOST.

Step 3: (Expert Players) Get better at the game. Now pick some skills that will help the way YOU play!
-Protip: This means put armor on, you dummy.

lolz. well i must say, this guide is a lot quicker to read than mine was.

tho it also requires a lot more common sense, which we all know nowadays isnt too common, or in fact a standard anymore
