I'll also state my intended objectives for each class

    Assassin
    - Pushin' lanes, wreckin' turrets & the occasional backstab (normally Supports)
    Assault - Pro killing & anti-espionage
Support - Base defense & juicing turrets
    Tank - anti-firebase & bot destruction
    Gunner - Pro killing & anti-turret
Sniper - Some sniping (of bots), a lot of close-range combat using Traps, Flak + SMG and Grapples (In that order)

Not every class needs RoF in the gold slot. Assassin, being a class that WILL get its hands dirty, very much needs armor in that gold slot, but keep the RoF in silver. Also, if you're going to use a lot of close-quarter combat with Sniper skills, skill recovery is indispensible, but whether or not you want to have armor or RoF in your gold slot is your preference. If you're going to be in the thick of things, gold armor may be a better idea. The only time you should have speed on a Sniper is if you intend to make an objective-based build, in which case you would go with speed in the gold slot, and RoF in silver and sneak around the arena, hiding in corners and taking out turrets while thinning the bot flow. It's a difficult build to keep a minimum of 1.5 K/D in, because of the lack of armor, and the fact that the gameplay style WILL attract a horde of enemy pros....like, the entire team. They will mercilessly start suiciding your location if you kill more than one in a row and manage to take out a turret, and gold speed aids tremendously in the retreat phase.

One of the devs mentioned that gunners don't benefit from gold ROF due to network lag so don't use that. It was in direct response to whether to run gold ROF so we're not sure if there is value going from bronze to silver or not. anyone?

Assassin: RoF/Armor can be either Silver or Gold IMO, its up to your playstyle. I'd take Health Recovery/Skill Recovery over speed in bronze though [Health recovery most likely].

Tank: Can get by with Silver RoF if you are accurate with the Rail Gun. I'd swap speed and RoF if you want to run a non-armor tank. How often are you using the jet gun vs the rail gun % wise? If its like 75% jet gun I'd consider dumping RoF entirely for Speed/Armor/Skill.

Gunner: My build is Armor/RoF/Clipsize, and primarily is built around the mortar launcher. The gunner gets TONS of kills, so you should not have any problems picking up speed drops for movement speed. I feel the gunner at LEAST needs silver RoF to have a good mortar launcher, and Gold armor helps off set your lack of a movement based skill and will give you an edge on any mid range battle you have.

I could have said Assassin-raping, but that left horrrible and strangely kinky ideas im my mind.

Thank you everyone. Will try out some of these builds later today.

I've also droppped Metabolightning (3% speed increase) from my Sniper, and replaced it with FocusAll (20% faster skill recovery)

they said it may be limited in high-lag situations, not that it just doesn't work.

...on their minigun, no, they have a maxed rate pretty much and gold doesnt help too much.

...on thier mortars, you could always use more mortars per second. hit a sniper and by time he realizes he got 1 mortar he'll have 2.

I use the mortars a metric crapload. For turrets and attacking Snipers from out of sight.

For the Support build, let me start off by saying you have the essentials down, which is great, because Rate of Fire, Armor, and Skill Recovery are the 3 best endorsements you could put on one.

Now, as for the build itself, I'd recommend that Skill Recovery either go in the Gold or Bronze Section, as the boost from Bronze to Silver is only a 5% increase (20% to 25% faster regen). Rate of Fire is a priority post-patch because of the Heal/Hurt nerf, and Armor is pretty much essential for a Support (slow moving, no charge, and low jump height).

    My recommended builds:

Rate of Fire, Armor, Skill Recovery:
    • Fastest healing possible for Heal/Hurt, and devastatingly-fast Shotgun. Useful for gun-oriented players, while still having skills to fall back on.

Skill Recovery, Rate of Fire, Armor:
    • Fastest skill recharge time allows for more Air Strike usage, as well as hacking to keep your defenses set. Shotgun RoF isn't bad either, but Heal/Hurt takes a hit for it (according to Scathis, Silver ROF H/H is slower than pre-patch H/H). Armor is low, so be quick on your feet and upgrade Passive ASAP. Useful for skill-oriented players.

Dear OP, please study this link to fine tune your mostly crappy builds:

    viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1157&hilit=endorsement+research

The data is not perfect but it gives you an accurate idea of how well each endorsement functions. Note that there is no information on criticals, but generally speaking don't bother with criticals except on an assault.

Only the sniper and support really need RoF gold.
