It's okay to like Gears Of War: Judgement

Thinking of trying out a GOW game and this may be it. Need another shooter that's different from CoD and Gaylo.

If you played any of the other ones or have interest in the series, i'd say it's worth picking it up, even just for a rent.

My brother, being a Gears head since the first one, is loving the game. He says "Gears:J takes a lot of the cheese out of the Gears series."

The little that I have played I have really enjoyed it. Overrun mode all day, YO!

Besides not owning a console, I've been with Gears since the first, and am a bit hesitant on this one. The controls seems a bit odd to me.

All of the Gears have been quite different from each other, I suppose I'll lookup some gameplay of this one.

My brother is a GoW diehard and he says that Judgment isn't worth 80$.

A lot of GoW fans are angry, disappointed and embarrassed about the new game.

No it's not... they've taken everything good from the last one and binned it. I just hope they add the good things in dlcs - NO EXECUTION WTF!!!!!!!!! NO HORDE - sure it has survival but it ain't Horde.

Judgment pulled a Halo 4 aka trying to be CoD.

My brother always liked the fact that GoW was all about pure gaming skills and not about the weapons and map positioning.

Hmmm, it's a good game for you since you don't know nor give a fvck about the original GoWs but for the diehards, it makes them feel embarrassed to be GoW fans.

What? I've played a bit of Gears 1 and 2 but from what I could tell it was ALL about the weapons and map positing. It was like that for Unreal tournament and Halo. Those features don't mean its a bad game.

My brother player a lot of GoW 2 strictly on JPN servers and I can tell, it was all about the same weapon, shotgun, and a crap load of wall bouncing. I think VALERIA REEVES is the best GoW player in Japan.

I played the demo so far and it is chaotic as crap. Fun, too.

A CoD clone? How so? Because they removed downs from multiplayer? So any game where you just kill players is a CoD clone? Okay...

Lots of players dislike it because they didn't know what it was going to be. I guess they didn't know it was a new team going in a new direction. My brother, being a diehard fan even before the first Gears released, believes Gears:J is a refreshing breath of air in the Gears series.

I have this gut feeling LMP has no idea what he is talking about. Since the first Gears it was all about weapons and map positioning and it was just as fast paced. It is not much different then the other Gears. With downs being removed and your weapon loadouts being slightly changed that changed the way the game plays? I think not and neither does my brother.
