Hello again. After last path i started have more problems than before=). 1\2 try to connect to lobby, ends in failure "Failed to connect to lobby(or server)". So it became very often throw away from the game "Connection to server lost" I don't know, its only me, or all players crashing. Before last patch, game connection was more stable. Thank you, and sorry for bad english.
no I get tons of all of these, and frankly if the game can be considered in it's final state feature and units and engine, even optimisation-wise, I'm happy, as long as the "connection to server lost" and Co. are irradicated. I may be freaking out, but I'm getting the impression that they are really really hard to fix, from their not dissapearing patch after patch. maybe focussing the whole dev team's effort on it would work. please guys post on the bugtracker if you want any impact : http://pa.lennardf1989.com/Tracker/...closedfrom=&closedto=&order=history&sort=desc
Title of this thread needs to be a bit more specific I think. Anyway, ever since beta launched I too get numerous 'failed to join game' messages. It is very frustrating! And I can't replicate it, it just happens more often than not, making it quite difficult to play against someone!
I get those very often. Joining succeeds at maybe 1 out of 10 to 20. Especially FFA2 games are extremely hard to join. Suspecting that the protocol/handling of that is just not done yet. When someone joins a bit before I do, the client is too slow to update the games list and tell me its already full, still showing me one slot left. Client joins, server denies it cause the game is already full and drops him with some error. Just what I expect to happen there. The more empty slots, the easier it gets to join.
I don't think this is an error at all. These are people starting games with an AI. The lobby starts, and it blips on the game list before they hit ready and start. Many people only want to play with an AI until they figure out the game. Just look at the number of players in game compared to the number of games. 450 players in 360 games? c'mon.
Same source of problem though. Server fails to report to the client that this game isnt available anymore in time. So client joins an already running game. No matter if the other player who took "your" spot is AI or human.
