It is physically impossible to play this game alone now.

What happened? I used to at least join a few games that went back and forth if I hopped in, but now....

Now I can't just find a single game that my team isn't filled with complete retards. No need to go into details here. We've all experienced it. It's almost literally me vs. the enemy team. I'm forced to play Assassin if I'm determined to actually win, as it's the only class that allows me to play all three roles at the same time (Push bots, destroy turrents, and kill pros). It's just not possible to join a quick game, play as anything else, and expect to win. I can keep them at bay for practically the whole game, but a loss during OT is inevitable.

What happened here? Did people start going in parties more often? Or is the numerous number of All Stars on the enemy team because of what I did to that turkey? And why are majority of people on my team in the 70's, max.

*sigh* I mean, I understand the vast advantages of going in with a team, but should a fun, random game be THAT hard to find? Geez. I don't want to have to get five other people together just to have play.

    /rant.

It usually helps to just have at least one other person with a brain on your team.

You don't need a full team (unless you are going up against a full team).

But I hear you, you just got to do the best you can.

If your lucky and they have mikes you can try and give your team advice.

Having them take it is another story.

I know how you feel. I quit out of 6 games in 3 hours because I was 12 - 6 while everyone else on my team was like 1-10, 1-24, 7-16, 4-11......

It doesn't help either when enemy assassins are juiced within the first 45 seconds and destroy all your turrets....

It's pretty bad going in there alone nowadays. A few months ago bad teams were the exception, now it's the rule. Smh.

They new a game mode for parties and one for singles.

Hey I'm only in my low 70's and I'm not terrible. Can't judge a book by the amount of blitz it has completed!

But in all seriousness, what the Barry the Platypus said. Have at least one other friend playing with you. I never play by myself since I always end up pulling all my hair out. Played a game last night alone to get some footage where I was getting kills left and right, being offensive, destroying their base, and in the end it didn't matter. Went to overtime and the enemy team won because my team mates were incompetent. One man does not a team make. Find friends, never play alone. ;)

I hear the OP and second his frustration. I'm lucky enough to have some friends to play with most of the time, but when I don't it's not even fun. I never realized until last night the only way to make it through those rounds is to go assassin, which I'm not great at. The only reason I ended up doing well is the other team is too distracted by the bullet sponges I had for team mates to notice the hum. I held us till OT, but as soon as those balls dropped the other team was all like "S you in your As, dont wear a C, and J all over your Bs."

That one was on purpose.... :?

But, yeah. Ton 'o fun. I'm just missing the ease of finding a pub game that seemed fair, and wondering where it went. I after all, at least one of the good people has to be on my team eventually, right? Right?

I agree with the above poster about having two separate lists. Gives us a Mercenary one with no parties allowed and the normal list. Not sure how many people are actually playing MNC now, as this idea might adversely effect both types of players finding matches.

If that was possible to arrange, it would be incredibly convenient.

Not saying it's that big a hassle to find one guy on my friends list who's willing to play (though I only have one), it's just that it's incredibly frustrating to be shut down from Crossfire without that extra person.

What happens now: Party pulls host intentionally so they get their own lobby and guarantee they're on the same team, wait (sometimes half an hour) for room to fill up for a match. After the match, another 30 minute wait for a few people to join again due to people having ragequit after the inevitable stomping of the pickup team.

What should happen: if 6 players of two separate teams are in separate lobbies, throw them together, pick a host at random, and see who crawls away and who is left standing. Profit. :D

I'd support this idea as an alternative to having 2 different lists. If it could be programmed is the only question.

I would support the idea of 2 different playlists as well. As it is now, if I get put into a lobby with a party in it, I WILL quit immediately, so it's not like I'm playing with them now anyway.

    I fully endorse this product.

Honestly, I don't mind getting my *** kicked anyway. It's how you get better. That's pretty much a general rule for anything that requires skill.

EDIT: By the way, Monday Night Combat is not NEARLY active enough to always separate parties and soloers. This is not freaking battle.net people. It's an arcade game and has a limited number of dedicated players.
