    Right so where to start....

I downloaded and loaded the game straight from the PA launcher, the loading etc worked perfectly fine, then I decided to ease of access to convert my key to a steam key. When I load from steam it just crashes on the "Beta Agreement" part. I don't understand why it would work normally through the launcher, but not on steam, and since there is no way to convert my key back again I'm stuck like this. Any ideas?

Secondly, I've scoured the options menu and I can't seem to find a simple graphics option to adjust the resolution. I've relied on the ability to change the resolution down of games in order to help them run better and I would of expected a simple option such as this in PA, However I cannot find one. Is there a way to force a resolution? (When trying to do so in target lines etc I just get a "Unknown command -w" error)

Hopefully that all makes sense, it kinda sucks since I backed this in it's early days and was really looking forward to it, then all of this happens.

    Cheers

well the palauncher.exe still works if you run it inside the steam pa install folder, so there's that....

Ahh I should of mentioned when trying to use the original launcher, and log in on that, it gives me an error message saying I should be using my steam copy and to load it through there. However that's where the crashing happens.

Resolution is whatever size you have the window at, that's it. We don't set specific resolutions. Someone smarter than I would have to provide the exact details, but as I understand it, the DirectX style of "Here's your adapters, here's your resolutions" isn't quite as simple in OpenGL. If you want to adjust actual resolution to improve performance or improve fidelity, adjust the "resolution scaling" bar until you find a balance you're happy with.

    *Update*

Ran successfully directly from the PA.exe in my steam directory, but crashes when launching through the steam client.

However still having major graphical lag due to the resolution problem.
Just making it clear that I am able to run Battlefield 3 on decent fps on my pc due to the ability to lower the res, so my pc should be capable of this.

Anyways to successfully force a resolution of my game?

Ahh I see... So because of the way the game is built, currently (if ever) there are not the facilities and options to be able to do that kind of graphics changing...

    Okay :3

The game is not designed with traditional fullscreen. Please read these quotes they're from developers:

There are graphical options and they do have an effect. For more information highly recommend you to look at my signature. There are some really useful links.;)
