Issues playing PA

I bought the game on steam and none of the soultions to fix it worked so i was wondering if there is anything i else i might be able to do to be able to play please and thank you.

when i start the game i get a blank white screen and then a message saying there is something wrong with it and then it shuts it down

What does the message say exactly, and attach a DxDiag of your system.

pa.exe has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

for some reason it wont let me add the DxDiag file it says the uploaded file is empty so ill just copy and paste from the .txt file sorry ahead of time.

It looks like you have an Intel integrated graphics card. Integrated graphics cards are often not supported, and are rarely good choices for gaming on. Try updating your graphics card drivers, and see if that helps.

You should almost always update your driver to the most recent one compatible with your graphics card. Just Google the name of your graphics card followed by "driver update". Keeping drivers up to date is a necessary evil for gaming on a PC platform.

well of course, but you cannot blame anyone and call it a "rip off", as its your own fault. you could have asked here if your laptop will run the game.

I understand that it's frustrating to buy a game and not be able to play it, but knowing the capabilities of your machine is one of the things you need to be familiar with if you want to play games on it. You wouldn't by an electric smart-car then demand a refund when it couldn't drive up a mountain.

There are a wealth of resources available on-line for understanding these things. Before you buy a game, you should always check reviews, technical specifications, and research any aspects of these things that you are unsure of.

It takes a matter of minutes on the internet to find out that an integrated graphics card is not suitable for most modern games. At least now, you know you already have the game bought for the next time you upgrade your machine.

Your laptop doesn't even have a proper graphics card. You can't really complain when buying an unoptimised alpha game designed to have war on a grand scale across multiple planets.

as i said minnimum knowledge of computer systems as for opertunity to buy a tower when over seas isnt all that great, but its on my list cause i really would like to play this game hence why i paid for it so please dont think i hate the game quiet the opposite just dissapointed to the extreme cause i can't that and ive never had problems playing any other game which led me to belive it was something other then my laptop but i guess it was bound to happen on a 2 year old laptop.
