I've played several hours of this game over the free weekend and I really enjoyed it--so much I even bought it. However, there were several glitches/flaws with this game that made it so that I could not recommend it to my friends: 1. Disconnection issues/Blank Server lists: I checked the FAQ and I do not have the routers listed. I have a Linksys WRT54G. More importantly, the router shouldn't be the issue, since in all the online shooters I've played I've never heard that as a reason for disconnect issues. I've also never had server lists go blank upon refresh in any other game except this one. I've noticed that exiting out of the game and restarting fixes these issues temporarily, but the fact remains that if I refresh more than once I will get a blank server list. 2. Hosting Servers: The only way that I got this to work was making the server dedicated (it was a Blitz server). Otherwise when my friends joined we'd both be kicked about a minute into the match (after we got past the lobby). 3. Robot AI in Blitz: So it seems that for the most part, the robot AI just makes a beeline to the moneyball, attacking anything that gets in the way. This is fine for Crossfire, but it makes them rather stupid in Blitz. Even playing on "Insane" intensity, my friend and I who were completely new to the game survived 120 rounds on our second try. We basically built up all the turrets into the map to level 3 and we were unstoppable. The only time the bots were able to actually destroy a turret was when Jackbots rushed the moneyball. Even then they would maybe take out one or two--not a problem since by midgame we were swimming in money. One other problem was that after round 100 or so, we seem to have "broken" the game. After that round we were getting just slims and blackjacks again. Shouldn't we have been drowning in Jackbots (and indeed, every kind of robot) by that point? We only lost because after 120 rounds the robots whittled us down to nothing. It never felt "intense" though. When we lost we had all the turrets fully upgraded and there were several rounds where we didn't even need to do anything ourselves--the turrets handled it for us. In short, the robots in Blitz need to keep increasing in number infinitely and they need to attack and destroy the turrets as they go along. The player should be desperate for cash by the end because of all the turret rebuilding they need to do. MNC is a fun game, but some things definitely need fixing.
After a certain point the rounds become random, and ridiculous chains like 5 consecutive Jackbot rounds have been known to happen. The bots don't increase in number because instead, their health increases. Once you get into the 600s, your moneyball will go down during a Jackbot round fairly often unless you are hugging the annihilator. The reason they stupidly walk in straight lines is to give more of a tower defense feel.
