Hey guys since this patch came live, i maybe had issues connecting to maybe 1 game in 5, with failed to connect to game lobby being the reason. since this patch has come out i now struggle to connect to 1 in 10 games, iv tried with disabling my firewall ect but this was never a major issue before, is any one else having issues like this or knows how to get round the problem? any feedback much appreciated, (i searched around and didnt really find anything that covers this issue as i can connect to the ubernet servers just not reliably...)
Try pressing f5 a few times while the match is loading. Uber has lots of improvements coming to the lobby and game loader.
hey dude, sorry what i mean is i cant connect to the lobby's for actually starting a match, if i get into a lobby then theres np i can play the game fine ect. its just managing to scroll through the games list and physically get into the pregame lobby
I think I am experiencing the same issues that you are. Each time I try to join a game from the list of available games, I get either "Failed to join" or "Connection to server lost". I am only trying to join 1v1's, so that may make the issue more pronounced. I tried to join a game this afternoon for about 10 minutes, after ~15 failures (all on different games) I finally got in one, but the other guy got stuck in the loading screen as the game launched, so I figure I'll wait for the next patch. It wasn't like this before the gamma update, so some wires probably got crossed in the update. I am using the linux client.
