There's always a few lobbies open, and I'm sure it will be that way for quite some time. You will definitely need to be patient though. There are plenty of players who have been at this game for a long time and know all the ins and outs of every map and class, so it can get very frustrating at times. Absolutely worth the money though. Hell, just get the trial and see what you think.
This game is worth it. But in all fairness though, you are asking on the forum to the game. The only people here clearly care enough about it to keep playing. We have a biased opinion. The only thing that I can honestly say is that if you want to enjoy it, it is best to either bring a sense of humor or friends. The game can have a steep learning curve, and it can be very frustrating otherwise. If you really want to give it a try, send me a friend request and I will teach you some of the basics.
