It's still VERY early, but we're working on it. Keep in mind. Even if it makes it into a build this week... it'll be kind of hard to use with no orbital units. But we have to finish this part so we can then do the next step.
Looking forward to this enormously. I imagine this piece of work will remove those units from the sun too - each planet will address units separately. Heh, wonder what will happen if we fire units into the sun?? Perhaps an opportunity for a nifty easter egg there.
Maybe we'll add a rule "You are allowed to use super range engineers to make a single factory on the moon" to the ladder or something so we can use it then xD With the current UI it will be quite hard to play on 2 planets/moons, though.
Time to create a unit that slingshots stuff to the moon. You know, like a cannon. That hopefully doesn't do much damage. Hopefully. Pesky physics.
I think this it will work in the other direction: You shoot units down down to the planet. Shooting stuff up to the moon is pretty hard due to the gravity of the planet.
All I care about is being able to get to the moon quickly. Can't Uber add a modified Lobber that shoots Botfabbers or something? ;_; I wanna mooooon!
Just feed the bots lots of beans before sticking them in the cannon. Should be able to hit escape velocity easy!
What about a Fabricator Artillery. It shoots very expensive shells full of energy/metal that slam into the ground and shower nearby blue prints. Bit weird, but it just popped into my head so I thought I'd write it down :>
