I only recently bought MNC, and have played 5 matches total.

5 out of 5 matches, there were players above level 80 in at least one of the teams.
I even won some of the games, but obviously I got carried. I haven't gotten a single kill, and I believe I've only gotten 2 assists total (by the way I have no clue how I got them)

Anyway, my point is, I had never been so frustrated so quick with a game before, and believe me, I've played some TOUGH *** games. The reason for this is, well, every game has some sort of way to assure that you're playing with people close (if not on the same) level as you, and this makes for an easier learning experience.

In MNC, I only see about 4 servers with more than 5 people online at one time, and unless I want to play alone, I have to face these level 95 players and get instagibbed by their grapples or get suddenly frozen and sniped across the map.

Any suggestions as to what I could do? Maybe even some gameplay tips? As of right now, I am really really really bad at this game, and can't even learn because I'm not even being given the chance. This is not a QQ thread, even though it may seem like so, all I'm looking for is advice. Is anyone else going through the same thing? maybe we could even play a couple games for training.

Best bet is to look for servers with less than 5 stars maximum rating allowed. The max rating is on the right side in the server browser. Look for something with 3 stars or less

Add somebody who can help you on Steam and maybe he'll show you around.

I'd help to know which class you play.

Go the the strategy and tactics section of the board and look up some of the guides. Read the discussion after the guides to see where opinions differ to get a better idea of how everything works.

    A few quick pointers.
Bots are easier to kill than pros for more profit.
Juice is one of the most important resources in this game, avoid dying at all costs with 3/4 a bar or more of juice.
Never build lazer blazers, and don't build longs shots on Steel Peel. They are almost useless.
"It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look winning." Taunt after pro kills for extra cash.

Meh. I got better things to do, like not die being stuck in an animation.

If you're out of the action, there is no reason not to. A quick glance around and a 2 second animation to net you $50 (tripling the value of early kills) is hard to top for cash over time. This is especially important for Support players as it boosts their limited economy.

re: original poster, consider trying the single player mode, Blitz, with each class. This will give you a chance to feel the effects of every skill and weapon in the game first-hand without having to feel rushed, and help you to decide which class best meets the needs of your playstyle.
As mentioned before, look for servers with a 3-star limit (indicated to the right of the server browser), you will find fewer obscenely skilled players.
Finally, remember that MNC is not a game you learn overnight. One of the great things about it is that it is very deep, but the learning curve (past the VERY steep beginning phase) is very gradual, and you will only get better the more you play. As mentioned before, check out the Strategy and Tactics sections in both the PC and 360 subforums for great guides that WILL make you a better player.

Above all, welcome to MNC. Have fun and enjoy!
