Yes, because we still have a large community. Other people may think it's dieing because the developers gave up on it, but that's what they said with Xbox TF2, and that's still considered a strong game.
I think so. Watching MNC evolve over the past year has been interesting. Those of us who are in the forums and still play regularly have a different view of it than the average MNC player. I spend most of my time in the pubs, just having fun, doing funny stuff and every once in a while, i'll put in some effort. Sometimes the team splits work out well and you get a good mix of noobs, prestige and maybe a top 200 player on each team. I'm finding that this is what its all about. Sure, privates with the top players are what the spectators want to see. Those are fun and the way MNC is meant to be played. It's the pubs where the community is growing. MNC now has a really cool dynamic to the pub matchmaking. It sucks most of the time. Sometimes, like I mentioned, it works out. the high level players, the ones who really know the game, are the stars of MNC. They have personalities and strategies that define them. The noobs in the room could be super stoked when they get ChaosFF7 on their team, or really let down when they get TheChuckNorris. After all the MNC i've played, I've reached a zen-like mindset about it. The noobs andsemi-experienced players can bust their asses fighting each other. I'll just do my thing and see what happens. I observe othee players behavior more. We all know who habitually leaves matches, or who is spawnstrikingeverytime I see them LIEFGLINDE, JENUBIS. Every single time. I just find the entire community aspect of mnc enthralling.
I need to try Spawn Flak some time. That'll actually make a K/D of 1 not using the assault achievable. (Yes, I'm joking. I don't spawn camp.)
I will do it, but very rarely. Usually after I see someone on the other team doing something douchey. Dor instance, Liefglinde and Jenubis will both get spawn striked if I ever get the chance. I know its up to Uber to get all of the bugs and exploits and balance issues worked out. I feel like those of us who really appreciate the game should be better sportsmen in the pubs. What good does it do you to use a dirty trick and crap on some group of noobs. If thats what makes these guys feel good, well I suppose they have their reasons. I know nobody really gives a ****. I just think we should focus more on a good gaming experience while in pubs as opposed to ruining some noobs mnc experience by using shitty tricks.
MNC is still strong considering 1) we haven't recieved the updates, 2) huge titles were released for xbox, but were still managing plenty of private matches.
