Does it seem like half the people playing don't understand the flow of the game? In most games I see people defending and others killing but no one is really "attacking" or pushing in any sort of way. Just slaughtering each other until overtime and then rushing the ball with juice for the win.
Definitely. Even when I don't have an amazing K/D I still usually have the most points on my team because I'm the only one that kills bots and takes out enemy turrets. A lot of people just play the game like a deathmatch.
Haha, you've got to be kidding. Yea, that's how every game goes. Kill each other from afar or by going invisible all round until it gets to overtime then rush in with Juice. I would've liked to have seen a drain rather than Overtime just dropping the shields. That way, the way to get an advantage is to play the way the game is 'meant' to be played (escorting and attacking) and also more evenly matched rounds would end in a draw rather than one 2 for 26 assassin who's juiced running in and winning the game in the final seconds...
I wouldn't be against making it so you can't buy juice at all. It seems like that would go a long way to stop the current mindset of "Standoff until overtime and juice rush" that every game seems to turn in to.
You know it will happen! Call out the time and tell your team to camp the Juice, half their team will buy it, you kill them and boom it is wasted. Or have juice and DEFEND. Just because you have juice doesn't mean go rush their base.
But in order to kill half their team who just bought juice, I'm probably going to need juice too, and at that point my juice is probably better spent attacking their base. And even if it is counterable, it really isn't fun and goes against the theme of the game.
Why are you letting them juice up? You know they can't buy it and use it RIGHT once they but it? You CAN kill them fast enough. How does it go against the theme? They made the rule of no moneyball shield, you just have to learn to beat it.
Not to repeat what's been said in the thread already, but because it makes the whole escorting bots and pushing the enemy base part of the game meaningless, because you can just play the game as a deathmatch and juice up once overtime comes around for the win. And even if I can stop it, I just don't enjoy playing the game that way, and would rather every single game didn't end the same way, which is either a 3 minute base rush or juicing up in overtime. I just think the bots and tower defense aspect of the game should actually be important.
What's a moneyball? EDIT: Is it just me or has xxxScorpion been on my team a good 6 times in the past day or two? You push FAST, bro.
