Interested In Weekly Organized Play?

This is a survey, and I fully intend to make it useful and meaningful. Posts that are not on topic will be forwarded to a moderator and asked to be taken care of in the correct manner.

I am posting this survey, and want as many people to provide feedback as possible. As the question asks, would you play Monday Night Combat more frequently if there was some sort of organized games or tournament each week? What would these games or tournaments require to convince you to participate?

As much as people seem to be asking Uber to do this, and for Uber to do that, we need to realize that they gave us something great, and we can do them a favor by keeping the interest up in the game. We have the game, we have the community, why should we let it fall apart?

So, I am fully willing to break down whatever responses I get, and try to figure out the best medium to construct what type of play can be organized. I may seek some advice from people at times, but want to keep this game interesting, and maybe we can find a way to pull more qualified players in that haven't even gotten the game yet. Wean them into the game in a way that they don't just: Pay, Download, Play, Rage Quite because of opponent skill, Never Play Again.

So, again, what kind of weekly or monthly events need to happen to please the masses. If you vote other, please explain. If you vote yes, please state your preference for such events. If you vote no, and your answer is anything other than, "This game is dead," please note why you would not be interested in participating in any such event.

Nothing else to play right now, but it most likely wouldn't give me more play time, it would just make me play more focused, if that makes sense...

I probably would, but be warned of my timezones and legendar(il)y (bad) internet connection!

I'm more interested in having a full friends list of active MNC players to casually hook up with when I'm online. (which is most nights) The majority of my play on MNC has always been solo pub games, but I've finally gotten around to what it tastes like to play with friends that actually want to work together...and, hey whadda you know, I like it.

But scheduling play in my life is just not realistic. Too many other factors that are much higher priority and I just couldn't be reliable to be able to commit to a time in advance.

Weekly Organized Games can and will greatly help out. You can add my name to the list. We could possibly get together Monday Nights and just play for as long as we can. Regular Matches, Modified Rules Matches, SUMO Matches. We could even play a bunch of ways in a single night. It doesn't always have to be serious games.

Alas, I must post again, saying that most of the forum and my team (Rage no More), are interested in private matches. Usually when my team gets together, it is on Friday (less nowadays than before though). Matter of fact, most people like fridays, even GRRRKILL in the late evening.

Competitive, idk, what ever happened to the 2nd fraggednations tourney that was being made? Anyway, just add me if you wish, privates can be just as skillfun and competitive as tourneys. What usually is best, is inviting all friends into a private match, those friends inviting friends, ect. Good old fashon way.
